As stated in official records, the person allegedly involved in the attack involving media personality Charlie Kirk exchanged multiple digital messages with his roommate following the event.
Legal authorities indicated that the housemate told authorities that the suspect had told him to search below his keyboard where a written confession was allegedly found.
Law enforcement disclosed that the individual was transitioning and was in a romantic relationship with the suspect.

Individual: pause your activities, check beneath my keyboard.
After searching beneath the device, a message was discovered that allegedly stated: "I was given a moment to target the figure and I intend to take it."
Roommate: "What?????????????? You're joking, right????
Accused: I’m fine sweetheart, but I’m trapped in the city a bit longer. Shouldn't be long till I get back, but I gotta grab my rifle though. To be honest I wanted to conceal this through my life. I apologize for dragging you in.
Housemate: you weren't the person who did it correct?
Individual: I am, apologies
Housemate: I thought they detained the suspect?
Suspect: no, they apprehended some crazy senior, then questioned a person dressed likewise. I meant to grab my rifle from the hiding spot soon after, however much of the region was secured. It’s calm, almost enough to get out, however, a a car remaining.
